The Rice County Recorder issues certified copies of Rice County birth certificates, Rice County death certificates for events which occurred within Rice County. Statewide birth certificates are available from 1900 to present and statewide death certificates are available from 1908 to present. The authorization form provided at the end of the online order process must be signed by both the applicant and a Notary Public.
